Versta Research to Speak at ARF RE:Think 2015
January 30, 2015
Versta Research is scheduled to speak on the main stage of the Advertising Research Foundation’s annual Re:Think conference set to take place March 16 through March 18. Joseph Hopper, president of Versta Research, will present “Sync Your Message with Social Change to Quadruple Your Earned Media” along with Roxanne Gray, vice president of market research at Wells Fargo.
The presentation will describe a highly successful public relations and news campaign driven by survey research, designed to highlight Wells Fargo’s specialized expertise and positioning in the LGBT community. The campaign was selected from over 200 entries for one of the most high-profile ad and PR showcases in the world.
“We are thrilled to be presenting at this important gathering of research and media professionals,” said Hopper, president of Versta Research. “We are also honored to have worked so closely over the last several months with an outstanding team at Wells Fargo, and in particular with Roxanne Gray on the research team and Matt Hurwitz in the communications group.”
The presentation will focus on three key elements that made the campaign a success: (1) the timing of the news release, with research findings shared on the one-year anniversary of an historic Supreme Court decision; (2) the content of the survey that documented confusion during a time of rapid social change; (3) the focus on storylines during design, analysis, and reporting.
A copy of the presentation will be available from the ARF and from Versta Research in the weeks following the March conference.
