Versta Research to Speak at LIMRA’s 2015 Marketing & Research Conference

Versta Research will be presenting tips and tricks for creating market research infographics at the LIMRA Marketing & Research Conference on Thursday, May 28. The session, entitled Connect the Dots for Your Audience Through Infographics, will feature two talks: one by Joe Hopper, president of Versta Research, and one by Kristi Wick, digital media coordinator at America’s Health Insurance Plans. The moderator will be Jessica Kane from Unum, who co-organized the session with Linda Packard of Sun Life Financial.
Versta Research’s presentation is based on a company-wide initiative launched 18 months ago to develop an infographic summary of research findings for every project. Hopper will review the tools available for do-it-yourself infographics, and then share an approach to conceptualizing and designing content and layout.
“The goal of our infographics,” said Hopper, “is to develop a one-page, visually compelling summary of key findings. Infographics are not replacing reports. We are using them to tell easy-to-grasp stories that generate intense interest in learning more.” Hopper will demonstrate with examples from research on topics ranging from finance and healthcare to IT and media consumption.
In addition, Versta Research has created an “infographic about infographics” to accompany the presentation. It outlines eight tips for spectacular research infographics, embodying each of those tips within the infographic itself. It is available as a free download on the Versta Research website.
